Turmeric’s 1st Harvest is Halloween

REYNOLDS, GA - October 20, 2025

It’s working out that we have our first harvest of farm fresh turmeric at the end of October and you are invited to join us. In October the leaves are just starting to yellow. While I like to keep it in the ground until the leaves die and fall over in January, we want to have fresh rhizomes for our hometown fall festival at the beginning of November.

Join us for some small town fun on November 8, at 11 am - 5 pm. Enjoy live music, a parade, vendors and more around the town square of Butler, GA.

We will be harvesting Monday, October 27 - Thursday, October 30, my 25th anniversary! Join us between 10-6 pm each day as it fits your schedule. If you’re interested in learning more about turmeric, how it’s grown, what a harvest is like and how to clean it, plan to come to Reynolds. You’ll take home some free rhizomes for your participation!

Please reach out and schedule a time to stop by. Heather@bloodfirestudios.com or 770-256-7073 - call or text.
